Ahlstrom shares subscribed with option rights

A total of 816,447 new shares of Ahlstrom Corporation have been subscribed with option rights under the company's stock option programs I (2001) and II (2001). A corresponding increase of EUR 1,224,670.50 in Ahlstrom's share capital has been entered in the Trade Register today.
 
After the increase, the total number of Ahlstrom Corporation shares is 46,535,139 and the share capital amounts to EUR 69,802,708.50.
 
The shares will be traded on the Helsinki Stock Exchange as old shares as of March 9, 2007.
