Ahlstrom introduces Ahlstrom Pleat2SaveTM filtration media to enlarge its indoor air portfolio


Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, introduces Ahlstrom Pleat2SaveTM, a new portfolio of products targeted for residential, commercial and healthcare HVAC (heating, ventilation and air condition) applications. Pleat2SaveTM provides superior durability during demanding process and usage conditions compared to other similar products.  

"Ahlstrom Pleat2SaveTM is a robust product that offers excellent processing performance during filter pleating. This will bring significant savings to the filter manufacturers and cleaner air for the end customers," says Fulvio Capussotti, EVP, Advanced Filtration.

Ahlstrom has now a full portfolio of products for high efficiency air (HEA) applications including Ahlstrom Pleat2SaveTM, Ahlstrom Flow2SaveTM (introduced in 2013 for significant energy savings) and Microglass filter media.  Ahlstrom is committed to develop products which offer unique solutions to further improve indoor air quality (IAQ).

Ahlstrom's Advanced Filtration business area is a global supplier of air and liquid filtration materials with a leading market position in life science and gas turbine filtration.  The business area has seven production sites producing filter media in five countries.
