Ahlstrom Munksjö’s global manufacturing plants and customer service teams are operational and following significant protocol in accordance with our Global Pandemic Contingency and Preparedness Response Plan.
“Our Pandemic Contingency and Preparedness Plan was already established and allowed us to be agile and immediate in our response to fighting COVID-19 across the globe and keeping our employees safe and healthy while they are working in one of our plants,” said Rune Arnes, Vice President Health & Safety for Ahlstrom-Munksjö. “We have protective measures in place at our plants for prompt detection and isolation of potentially infectious individuals to prevent exposures among personnel and visitors. Our teams are evaluating their individual situations on a daily basis.”

While some regions have experienced some minor issues with logistics and shipping, we are implementing rapid response to manage those issues on a case-by-case basis. In cases where there has been risk of delays in receiving raw materials, we have rearranged our purchases to prevent possible disruptions.
Many governments are issuing orders relating to essential and non-essential operations in light of the COVID-19 virus as it expands globally. Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s plants satisfy the requirements under the orders established across the globe.
