Ever since the Covid-19 broke out in early 2020, Ahlstrom-Munksjö has been very active in fighting the pandemic. First and foremost this has meant ensuring the safety of its personnel, while safeguarding the company’s plants stay operational and maintaining outstanding customer service.

One of the eight selected was Nanomaji, a startup that was born after a successful research collaboration between Aalto University and Ahlstrom-Munksjö in 2015. The company is owned by Jymy Parhiala, Emma-Sofie Kukkonen and Sanna Puhakainen.

Manoj Chadha joined the Ahlstrom-Munksjö family in 2012 as a Finance Controller before going on to become Mundra’s Plant Manager – a role he has held since 2016. The importance of Manoj and his teams’ work has never been so vital as during the current COVID-19 crisis. The Mundra Plant’s products are for medical applications and therefore in high demand right now.
