Local community projects 2021

Our 2021 was led by six inspiring initiatives, continuingly enhancing quality education, gender equality, and clean water and sanitation. These selected projects resonate with one or more of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 5, and 6.

Chosen projects

Quality education (SDG 4)

Supporting disabled children and their families in France

Founded in 2006, Loisirs Pluriel is an organization that aims at providing access to leisure and vacations for children with disabilities – thus allowing their parents to benefit from respite time or to maintain their jobs. Our donation supports and encourages Loisirs Pluriel to organize a camp, a visit to a beekeeper, and other activities focusing on the well-being and development of these children.

Increasing awareness and understanding of diversity in American children

Building for Kids Children's Museum in Appleton (WI) has opened since 1992 to inspire child's discovery, and build resilience through intergenerational play-based learning. The donation is granted for facilitating educational activities inside the Diversity Discovery Free Day exhibits and program areas. Our employees at the local office also volunteered here for several years.
